AMERICAN LANDSCAPE - SELECTED WORK

ATELIER NEWPORT's fall exhibition, is a group exhibition featuring Jennifer Day and introducing Brooklyn based artist, Ko Smith, along side David Barnes, Jason Chase, Lucio Chiurulla, Doug DeLuca, Duncan Laurie, Gayle Mandle, Meighan Morrison, Richard Nocera, Jeff Soderbergh, Hannah Stahl and Michele Thrane.

American Landscape attempts to examine both the past and current American landscape through abstraction, symbol, iconic imagery, irony and nostalgia. This exhibition highlights thirteen contemporary, emerging and mid career artists working in different genres, and is Ko Smith's first exhibition at Atelier Newport.

American Landscape, is currently open with an artist reception Friday, October 4th from 6:00-8:00pm, at the gallery, located at 200 Bellevue Avenue in Newport.
